“Accept Me – Embrace Diversity!” – with Ida Marković

The MASTER team conducted the first workshop within the project “Accept Me – Embrace Diversity!” at the Youth Center in Podgorica @omladinskiservisi_cg.

The workshop was led by psychologist and Gestalt psychotherapist Ida Marković, who, through personal examples from her practice, spoke about raising awareness by educating young people on tolerance and developing an understanding of diversity.

The limits of my language are the limits of my world” – one of the key topics emphasized was communication and the importance of dedicating attention to it, as a new language creates a new context in understanding emerging social phenomena.

Young participants actively engaged in discussion and asked questions to gain a deeper understanding of the concept of diversity, as well as the challenges LGBTIQ individuals face in exercising their rights.

Participants also had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in recognizing stereotypes and prejudice, particularly those directed toward this community.

In the practical part of the workshop, we worked on raising awareness about diversity by empowering one another, emphasizing the importance of knowing our rights and ensuring equal opportunities for all.

The project “Accept Me – Embrace Diversity!” is supported by the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights @ministarstvo_ljmp_cg through the call “Say NO to Discrimination against LGBTI Persons.”

The content of the workshops is the sole responsibility of the Network for European Policies – MASTER.
