The MASTER team organized a workshop yesterday at the Youth Center of Roma and Egyptians in Podgorica titled “I Have a Right!”, as part of a project dedicated to promoting human rights among young people in Montenegro.
Young people from Podgorica, guided by energetic youth activist Šejla Pepić and Duška Šljivančanin, Advisor to the Ombudsman for Children’s Rights, dived into the world of human rights.
We discussed their universality and jointly concluded how important it is that these rights are respected and actively protected worldwide.
The focus of the workshop was on breaking stereotypes and combating prejudice that often shape our society in various ways, especially when it comes to the Roma and Egyptian community.
The discussions were in-depth and interactive, opening many important questions about how we can actively contribute to building a more inclusive community and ensuring the inclusion of marginalized groups.
MASTER remains committed to supporting young people!
We continue to inspire and empower youth to become active citizens and key actors in creating positive social change, and we especially thank @mladi_romipodgorice for their active and meaningful participation.
