Successfully Conducted Anti-Discrimination Camp
The MASTER team successfully carried out a three-day Anti-Discrimination Camp at Ivanova Korita.
On the third day of the camp, young participants had the opportunity to learn more about stereotypes and prejudices in society, interculturalism, and affirmative action.
A special part of the sessions was dedicated to education on the risks of discriminatory behavior, particularly in relation to mental health.
The lecturers also discussed the distorted image of the world that stereotypes create, and how discrimination arises based on someone’s national or religious affiliation.
At the very end, we discussed ways to recognize discrimination and the importance of reflecting on our own behavior towards diversity, as every individual has inherent value, just as they are, and has the right to a dignified and active life in conditions that ensure full participation in the community.
Participants expressed great satisfaction with the quality of the workshops and lectures held during the three-day camp, highlighting that such activities contribute to the development of tolerance and respect for diversity among young people.
The MASTER team will continue to work diligently on promoting human rights, as well as the rights of minority peoples and communities.
The project “European Practice for a Better Position of Minority Peoples” is supported by the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights through the call “Integration with the Identity of Minority Peoples and Other Minority National Communities in Montenegrin Society” in 2023.
