Documentary film “MASTER Step Towards the EU” premiered at Crnogorska kinoteka

The premiere of the documentary film “MASTER Step Towards the EU” was held last night at Crnogorska kinoteka, bringing together representatives of institutions, the diplomatic corps, civil society, academia, the media, as well as young people interested in Montenegro’s European future.

Through authentic stories, messages and a presentation of real challenges, the documentary portrays Montenegro’s European path as a process built every day – through reforms, the strengthening of the rule of law, the fight against corruption, the protection of human rights, the creation of better opportunities for young people and the development of a society of equal chances.

The event was opened by Montenegro’s Chief Negotiator with the European Union, Dr Predrag Zenović, and the Executive Director of the Network for European Policies – MASTER, MA Andrea Popović, who highlighted the importance of young people’s active participation in the European integration process and emphasised that young people represent an important driving force of Montenegro’s European future.

The event was further enriched by the panel discussion “How Many More Steps to the EU?”, during which Prof. Dr Nikoleta Đukanović, as well as Young European Ambassadors Emina Balota and Bogdan Malavrazić, discussed the challenges, reforms and perspectives of Montenegro’s European path. The panel discussion was moderated by MA Tara Serhatlić.

The film “MASTER Step Towards the EU” conveys the message that young people do not see the European future as a distant goal, but as an opportunity to actively participate in building a society of knowledge, freedom, equality and dignified life for all citizens.

The Network for European Policies – MASTER thanks everyone who attended the premiere and contributed to the discussion on Montenegro’s European future.
