The Network for European Policies – MASTER, in cooperation with the NGO Assistant, launched a new project “Your MASTER step towards the EU”, with the aim of contributing to the creation of an informed, active and pro-European citizenry in Montenegro.
The main focus of the project is to strengthen the understanding of the key values, processes and benefits of membership in the European Union, as well as raising awareness of the importance of the participation of every citizen in the process of European integration.
The specific objectives of the project are:
increasing the level of citizens’ knowledge about the essence of the EU accession process,
improving the capacity of potential users for the use of EU funds and Union programs,
encouraging dialogue and inclusion of young people in the public discourse on European integration,
improving the availability of quality and understandable information about the EU and the accession process.
Activities within the project include:
creation of the educational guide “Your MASTER step towards the EU”,
filming and production of the film “Steps to the EU” and promotion at info-days in the north of Montenegro,
the organization of the final youth forum “Your MASTER step towards the EU”.
By implementing these activities, the project will contribute to strengthening public awareness of the importance of European integration, but also to the creation of space for more active involvement of citizens, especially young people, in the processes leading to Montenegro’s membership in the European Union.
