Vuković, who is also an assistant on the project, emphasized that the main goal of the project is to improve the respect for and protection of human rights in Montenegrin society, especially among young people. He highlighted that youth are a key group that must be educated about human rights protection, and that raising awareness on this topic is essential for building a better and more prosperous future together.
Furthermore, he presented the activities implemented so far and the results achieved, and also took the opportunity to announce upcoming workshops on human rights, which will be organised in cooperation with Youth Centres in nine municipalities across Montenegro.
He also highlighted the strong cooperation with the Capital City Youth Office and institutions working in the field of youth and youth policy.
Once again, we emphasize that this MASTER project represents an important step toward achieving our vision of a more just and inclusive society. It is primarily aimed at young people in Montenegro, as we believe that this is the segment of the population from which every positive social change should begin, and which can play a significant role in spreading messages of tolerance and equality.
The project “I Have the Right!” is supported within the programme “RIGHT ON TIME – Support to Human Rights Defenders and CSOs in the Field of Human Rights Promotion and Development of Democratic Political Culture”, implemented by NGOs Juventas, Help, the Centre for Monitoring and Research (CeMI), Queer Montenegro, and the Bona Fide Open Centre, with the support of the European Union Delegation through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights for Montenegro 2022 (EIDHR), and co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration.
