The workshops “Volunteer – Make a Change,” successfully implemented in Podgorica, Tivat, Budva, and Danilovgrad, brought together young people aged 15 to 30 who are eager to learn, grow, and actively contribute to their communities. Through interactive sessions, games, and practical tasks, participants had the opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of the importance of volunteering in practice, the possibilities for engaging in local initiatives, and the ways in which their involvement can drive positive change.
During the workshops, topics such as active citizenship, teamwork, communication, and the development of life and professional skills were discussed—skills that are essential for the personal and social advancement of young people. A special focus was placed on empowering participants to recognize the needs of their communities, develop ideas, and, through concrete tasks, find ways to respond to those needs. Particularly encouraging was the energy, motivation, and willingness of young people to become part of volunteer teams and act as drivers of positive change in their local environments. The project “Volunteer – Make a Change” was supported by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Dialogue.
