“I choose life” – a successfully completed youth support and addiction prevention program

The MASTER organization is pleased to announce the completion of the project “I choose life”, which was dedicated to the prevention of the use of psychoactive substances among young people, strengthening awareness of the importance of mental health and creating an environment of support and understanding.

During the implementation of the project, the following activities were carried out:
✔️ podcast series “I choose life”, in which experts, representatives of institutions and people with personal experience participated;
✔️ production and distribution of the illustrative brochure “I choose life”, intended for young people, parents and the wider community – with useful information about prevention and available forms of support; ✔️ research on the attitudes and habits of young people, conducted through a questionnaire as part of the analysis, the results of which contributed to the understanding of the challenges faced by young people in the field of prevention;
✔️ a two-day camp on Vučje, which gathered participants from different cities and enabled interactive workshops, team activities and open dialogue on prevention and the importance of choosing healthy lifestyles;
✔️ public campaign and media visibility through announcements, video materials and messages of support, which additionally strengthened public awareness of the need for understanding and support for people facing addiction.

The goal of the project was to bring the topic of prevention closer to young people through education, open conversation and mutual understanding, as well as to encourage the wider community to recognize the importance of empathy and support.

We would like to thank all the participants, partners and collaborators who contributed to the realization of the project.
The project “I choose life” was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Health of Montenegro as part of the competition for 2024.
