“I Have a Right!” in Mojkovac

We held another workshop on human rights at the Youth Center in Mojkovac, where Duška Šljivančanin was assisted by Aleksandar Vuković, the administrator of the local Youth Club.

For over two hours, we discussed stereotypes and prejudice with participants, exploring how our assumptions and generalizations can shape our behavior and attitudes toward others.

A special focus of the workshop was on how stereotypes and prejudice can lead to marginalization, social exclusion, and psychological challenges for those targeted. The conclusion was that education and increased awareness can help individuals recognize and correct their own biases, while interaction and communication with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds can reduce prejudice.

Human rights are not a privilege, but a right of every individual. During this workshop, we emphasized the importance of creating a society where young people feel free to express their authenticity without fear of rejection—through education, open dialogue, and empowering youth to stand up for their rights and the freedom to be who they are.

🌟 Supporting young people, respecting diversity, and fighting discrimination – these are the foundations of the future we are building together. 🌟
