During October 9 and 10, coordinator of the program for gender equality Saša Đuretić and executive associate of the director of MASTER Tara Serhatlić held working meetings in the municipalities of Kotor 🏛️ and Tivat ⚓ within the project “Locally for equality”.
Together with representatives of local self-governments, a questionnaire was filled out and a constructive dialogue was conducted about 📊 the representation of women in local administration, their role in leadership positions 👩💻, as well as about concrete steps towards greater gender balance. 💬🤝
Gender equality is not only a goal – it is a prerequisite for a society in which every woman has equal opportunities to decide, create and lead.🌍💖
Through these conversations, we build the foundations of equal opportunities, but also lay the foundation for the creation of a brochure with recommendations and tools for the promotion of gender equality in local self-governments. 📚🌿
