The Network for European Policies – MASTER started the implementation of the one-year project “Equal by Law!”, with the support of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and in partnership with the Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMi).

The goal of the project is to build a society where LGBTIQ people feel safe, accepted and empowered to exercise their rights, especially in the field of health and social protection, work and employment. The project will include:
education on anti-discrimination standards,
campaigns against violence and discrimination,
promotion of positive practices in the work of institutions.
Particular attention will be paid to European and international standards, including the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights (Article 21), the European Convention on Human Rights (Article 14) and the Yogyakarta Principles. Through the activities of the project, LGBTIQ persons will be empowered to recognize, realize and protect their rights, thereby contributing to the construction of a legally equal, inclusive and just society.
All those interested can follow the activities of the MASTER team and get involved in the implementation of planned activities throughout Montenegro.
