The Importance of Financial and Mentorship Support for Starting a Business

The MASTER team held the tenth workshop for young entrepreneurs within the project “Aj rabotaj – let’s go to the EU” at the Youth Center @omladinskiservisi_cg in Podgorica.

As every Wednesday over the past two and a half months, young people have had the opportunity to learn how to start and sustain their own private businesses.

The topic of yesterday’s session was financial support for starting a business.

The esteemed lecturer Igor Goranović @gconsultingpg spoke about different types of support, dividing them into three main groups: the Investment and Development Fund of Montenegro (IRF), the Employment Agency of Montenegro (ZZZCG), and the Ministry of Economic Development.

In addition, the session covered support for equipment procurement, employment support, business development assistance, and competitions.

Through an active discussion with participants, different types of financing and current calls for applications were explained in more detail.

We were working this Wednesday—are you working too?

The project “Aj rabotaj – let’s go to the EU!” is supported within the @reload_westernbalkans programme, funded by the European Union, @evropska_kuca, and implemented by UNDP @undpmontenegro in partnership with 14 local self-governments in Montenegro, including the Central Region Cluster (Podgorica, Cetinje, Danilovgrad, and Zeta). @glavni_grad_podgorica
