With the aim of empowering young people and enhancing their active participation in social processes, the project “MASTERplan – Youth Create the Future” is being launched. The project seeks to strengthen the role of young people in the development of Montenegrin society by improving their level of information, competencies, and participation in decision-making processes.

The main vision of the project is to contribute to the creation of a society in which young people are informed, active, and empowered to recognize and use opportunities for developing their potential, while also actively participating in shaping the communities in which they live.
The project’s target group includes young people aged 15 to 30, with a particular focus on those from less developed areas and members of vulnerable groups.
Within the project, the following key activities will be implemented: development of the digital platform “MASTERplan,” organization of educational workshops in youth service centers, production and distribution of the documentary film “MASTERplan: Youth Create the Future,” as well as the film premiere and public promotion of the platform.
In contemporary Montenegrin society, young people often face challenges such as insufficient access to information, high unemployment rates, limited mobility, and a low level of involvement in public and social life. These factors contribute to a sense of marginalization and passivity among some young people, particularly in less developed areas. Although strategic documents recognize the importance of strengthening their role, in practice there is still a need to create more space and mechanisms through which young people can develop their potential and actively participate in decision-making.
For these reasons, the project “MASTERplan – Youth Create the Future” represents a comprehensive response to these challenges through a combination of digital solutions, education, and the promotion of positive social values.
Therefore, the message of the project is clear—young people are not only the future of society; they are its strength today. Through knowledge, creativity, and active participation, young people have the power to shape the communities they live in and drive positive change. The project aims to provide them with exactly what they need most—space, support, and the opportunity for their voices to be stronger and more visible.
“The project ‘MASTERplan – Youth Create the Future’ is supported by the Ministry of Sports and Youth within the call ‘Youth – Creators of the Future.’”
