The MASTER team held the sixth workshop for young entrepreneurs last night at the Youth Center @omladinskiservisi_cg as part of the project “Aj rabotaj – let’s go to the EU!”
Participants had the opportunity to attend an interactive lecture with the distinguished Igor Goranović from GConsulting @gconsultingpg and learn about running a business in the context of financing.
The lecturer placed special emphasis on financial statements, highlighting that “in business, financial statements are the identity card of a company.”
We also took the opportunity to explain to participants the difference between accounting and bookkeeping.
A discussion was also opened on who the users of accounting information are and what double-entry bookkeeping represents.
Participants learned about the difference between the balance sheet and the income statement, as well as how much can be learned about a partner, customer, supplier, or investor from financial statements.
The formula for success is hard work and continuous improvement—and our young participants are constantly putting in the work!
The project “Aj rabotaj – let’s go to the EU!” is supported within the @reload_westernbalkans programme, funded by the European Union @evropska_kuca and implemented by UNDP @undpmontenegro in partnership with 14 local governments in Montenegro, including the Central Region Cluster (Podgorica, Cetinje, Danilovgrad, and Zeta). @glavni_grad_podgorica
