Empowered Women in Petnjica!
The MASTER team successfully conducted the workshop “Empowered Women in Public Life” at the Youth Club in Petnjica. @omladinskiservisi_cg
Together with young people, we opened a discussion on gender equality from the perspective of mental health, and emphasized how important it is to be well-informed on this topic in order to recognize signs of peer violence.
The lecturer paid special attention to defining sex and gender, the division of household responsibilities, and what is expected of young women in Petnjica today.
We also discussed issues related to selective abortion in Montenegro—what the statistics show and how ready we are to address challenges in reproductive health.
Young people from Petnjica believe that many prejudices and stereotypes still exist and should be reduced as soon as possible.
And women must be empowered.
