Empowered Women in Bijelo Polje!
The MASTER team successfully conducted the workshop “Empowered Women for Participation in Public Life” in Bijelo Polje.
Different perspectives on gender equality bring a new angle to this topic, as well as a discussion on how equal our society truly is today.
We discussed how it is often easier to judge a woman in public life than a man, and how much society actually influences her role.
Young people in Bijelo Polje particularly discussed discrimination and the tolerance of diversity in all life situations, especially the position of women in the north of Montenegro.
The project “Empowered Women for Participation in Public Life” is supported by the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, @ministarstvo_ljmp_cg, within the call “Gender Barometer in Montenegro.”
