The three-day training for youth service administrators in the field of activism has officially begun, organized by the Network for European Policies MASTER, with the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Montenegro.
The training was officially opened yesterday in Budva, bringing together youth service administrators and activists from all parts of Montenegro.
The aim of the training is to strengthen the capacities of youth workers and administrative staff through the exchange of knowledge and experience, deepen the understanding of youth policy in the context of European integration, as well as map the needs and challenges faced by local communities.
The opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Darko Stojanović, Director General of the Directorate for Youth and Cooperation with NGOs, and M.A. Andrea Popović, Executive Director of the MASTER Network, emphasizing the importance of institutional support for youth centres and empowering young people for active participation in social and democratic processes.
Mr. Stojanović presented plans for expanding the network of youth centres, as well as strategic goals aimed at strengthening cooperation with the civil sector, local governments, and international partners.




During the first day of the training, participants also discussed the functionality of the National Youth Council, the possibilities for improving the Youth Law, as well as mechanisms through which young people can contribute to the European integration process.
The first day of the training was marked by inspiring speakers – Andrijana Radović, who emphasized the importance of local engagement and youth education, and Katarina Radović, representative of MASTER and former youth service administrator, who spoke about her personal experience, the importance of youth motivation, and the role of each service in community development.
The training is implemented as part of a broader project that includes: trainings and workshops in 11 youth services, a media campaign, a video series on empowering youth, as well as a final National Conference.
The project “Youth Voice – The Power of a Generation” is funded by the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
