Empowered Women in Plav!
At the Youth Center in Plav, the MASTER team conducted the workshop “Empowered Women for Participation in Public Life.” @omladinskiservisi_cg
Together with young people, we discussed patriarchy and tradition in Montenegro, which often result in unequal standards for men and women.
Participants were particularly engaged in discussions on discrimination and prejudice in everyday life, sharing examples from their own municipality.
The lecturer emphasized how important gender equality issues are for society as a whole, as well as the importance of educating young people on these topics.
Through the implementation of its activities, the MASTER team aims to contribute to a better position for women—because we are Empowered Women.
The project “Empowered Women for Participation in Public Life” is supported by the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, @ministarstvo_ljmp_cg, within the call “Gender Barometer in Montenegro.”
