The MASTER team continues to spread messages about the importance of minority rights and intercultural dialogue through the project “Wealth in diversity – Special features of minority peoples”.
During the past months, we held workshops and screenings of the film “Wealth in Diversity – Peculiarities of Minority Peoples” in youth centers in Podgorica, Plav, Petnjica, Nikšić, Danilovgrad and Kotor. Young people, representatives of minority communities and citizens had the opportunity to discuss the importance of tolerance, respect and mutual understanding through a film and discussion.

These activities brought together dozens of participants, among whom were young people, members of minority communities, representatives of civil society and citizens. The film authentically presented the wealth of languages, customs and cultures of the minority peoples in our society, as well as the challenges they face.
After the film screenings, educational workshops were organized where the rights of minorities, the importance of intercultural dialogue, the fight against stereotypes and discrimination were discussed.
Realized workshops and screenings throughout Montenegro contributed to the reduction of ethnic distance, the promotion of intercultural understanding and confirmed that cultural diversity is an asset that Montenegro should nurture, and our project once again showed that by working together we can build a society based on understanding and respect.
Together we are building Montenegro, where the wealth of diversity is our greatest strength!
