MASTER representative Zerina Srna appeared on TV E Montenegro in the program Budilnik, where she presented the project “An Educated Consumer – A Protected Consumer.”

Srna stated that the main goal of the project is to empower, educate, and inform citizens of Montenegro about the rights guaranteed to them under the Law on Consumer Protection, as well as to familiarize them with legal protection mechanisms and provide expert advice related to consumer protection.
She emphasized the importance of fully aligning national legislation with European regulations and practices, and referred to the European Commission’s 2023 Progress Report on Montenegro, which clearly states that Montenegro is moderately prepared in the field of consumer protection.
Accordingly, Srna believes that through a series of activities that MASTER will carry out in the coming period—such as conducting public opinion research, analyzing the collected data, organizing educational sessions in the northern, central, and southern regions, as well as running a media campaign—citizens will become better informed about consumer protection. Additionally, recommendations and suggestions will be directed to the Ministry of Economic Development with the aim of improving this area.
