The Network for European Policies – MASTER, in partnership with Montenegro Robotics, is realising the project “Be a MASTERmind: Science Is Your Path”, an initiative aimed at empowering young people in Montenegro to recognise science as a tool for personal development, innovation, and social change.
The project is intended for students who want to develop their research skills, gain practical knowledge, and connect with experts and peers from different parts of Montenegro.
As part of the project, participants will have the opportunity to take part in the MASTERmind hub, which will be held in the north of Montenegro. Through an interactive and educational programme, participants will explore topics such as:
- writing and publishing scientific papers,
- science communication and public speaking,
- idea development and innovation,
- connecting science and business,
- opportunities for research funding.
Following the educational part of the programme, a competition for the best research paper will also be organised, open to young people from across Montenegro.
Valuable prizes have been provided for the authors of the best papers:
- First place – €1000
- Second place – €500
- Third place – €300
In addition to the cash prizes, the winners will receive additional promotion of their work. The first-place author will be featured in a short documentary film, while the other awarded participants will be presented through podcast episodes.
Date: 13–14 June 2026
Location: Etno selo Montenegro, Brezna
Application deadline: 30 April 2026, by 23:59.

The project “Be a MASTERmind: Science Is Your Path” is being realised with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro.
